Good product , had to do a little fiddling to get it to fit right
This is the 3rd custom hitch I have purchased from etrailers. When you find a company that sells a quality product at a competitive price, why would you go anywhere else?
Bought this hitch about a year ago. Took it to a mechanic who installed it since that is not my thing. It is a great hitch.
The new trailer hitch arrived very fast (2 days). It fit perfectly and the instructions were very clear with pictures Of the entire process.
Your product appears well built. Unfortunately, you fail in the shipping department. When I received the product, the left part of the weldment was sticking out of the shipping box unprotected, about 6 or 8 inches. Being exposed and unprotected allowed it to be scratched on the edge and gouged about 6" from the edge. I examined the welds and didn't see any damage so we'll see if it holds up. It needs end protection. It's obviously moving around inside the box. The weight of the product plus the unrestricted movement will quickly rip through your shipping box.
I was amazed how fast this shipped. Shipping was free and I received the hitch in three days after I ordered. This hitch looks very nice on my 2015 ML350. It was a perfect fit. Doesn't stand out / takeaway from the vehicle appearance. Installation took me about 3 hours. Installation was not difficult. Youtube videos were helpful. I would definitely recommend this company and this model of hitch to others.

Mine was a custom install, so it is a bit different. I ordered this for a W166 Bluetec ML 350. It is not meant to be installed in the diesel because of the location of the DEF tank at the rear. My 2012 model no longer utilizes this tank so I removed it to fit this hitch. Even removing the tank guard cover will not be enough clearance for your hitch, the entire tank must be removed. Another issue is the muffler/exhaust. The gasoline and diesel exhaust systems are designed differently and the diesel muffler will not fit into its recess with this hitch installed. My solution was to remove the rear section of exhaust pipe and muffler, cut off 1-1/2 inches from the forward end and re-install. It clears everything now and fits perfectly! This has gone from a simple install to a more involved project, but it fits well and looks great! The Curt hitch arrive in good condition with packing that protected it from the torn box. The welds on the gussets are prefect. The black coating is perfect. I wish there was still a diesel-specific hitch produced. These vehicles were discontinued in 2016 but are fantastic!

One year later and the hitch has worked fine. Zero issues. Word of advice: After a couple months from your initial install, get back under the vehicle and re-tighten the bolts. Vibration can sometimes work them loose, not always but occasionally so its a good safety practice to check.
